Christian Kapteyn is a seasoned digital serial entrepreneur with a talent for guiding corporates in creating and scaling innovative startup ventures. Kapteyn takes a holistic approach and can assist with strategy and business model development, governance framework, legal and financial setup, founder recruiting, rapid scaling, and interim management. With several corporate ventures created and implemented, he prides himself on his lean, agile, and efficient implementation focus.
Kapteyn holds a Diploma and a Ph.D. in Semiconductor Physics from Technische Universität Berlin, where he also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist. He studied Semiconductor Physics at Matsushita Central Research Laboratories and the University of Groningen as well.
Currently, he serves as Managing Director of DBI Digital Business Innovation, where he assists companies in their digital transformation process. Previously, Kapteyn held positions such as Director of the "Digital Transformation Management" study program at SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences and Professor of Digital Business at the same institution. Furthermore, he has been a lecturer in Digital Business Innovation & Technology at Steinbeis School of Management and Innovation.
