Taryn Mead is a seasoned researcher, lecturer, practitioner, and consultant with over fifteen years of experience in private sector sustainability and innovation.
With a background in Environmental Biology and Business Administration, Taryn Mead holds a PhD from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor's degree from Western State College.
Taryn has held various roles including Assistant Professor, Product Track Coordinator at Western Colorado University, Faculty at Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and Founder of Symbiosis focusing on nature-inspired innovation.
Having contributed to organizations like One Planet Education Networks, ICELab@Western, Biomimicry 3.8, and more, Taryn is passionate about envisioning creative organizational solutions to sustainability challenges.
