Vincent Young is a seasoned software engineer and problem solver, with a passion for learning and creating efficient, scalable systems. With a BSc from Ryerson University, Vincent has held notable positions at Google, AdMeld, and JumpTV, where he honed his skills in C/C++, server-side Javascript, Perl, Postgresql, and MySQL, while also developing expertise in distributed systems, scaling, high performance, and Linux (Centos, rhel). Vincent thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, and is currently working as a freelance software engineer in Tokyo, Japan, where he is developing adserver software in the display and mobile ad space, and working on a new startup in the service industry.
