Erik Newlin has a strong academic background, including a degree in Business from the University of Nevada, Reno, and further studies at Cuyamaca College, Western Nevada College, and Ygnacio Valley High School. He has held several senior positions throughout his career, including Senior Client Partner/Associate Vice President at Infosys, Co-chair ICD-10 Assessment Workgroup at WEDI, Vice President of Information Technology & Compliance, VP of EDI Platform & Compliance, and Director of National Standards Consulting at Xerox, and many other prestigious organizations. Additionally, Newlin has extensive experience in government work as a former MMIS/Fiscal Agent Manager for the state of Nevada and as a Petty Officer in the United States Navy.
