Rex Chekal is a seasoned UX/UI designer and the Principal Product Designer at TXI. He studied Journalism at the University of Iowa and honed his design skills at Starter League. Chekal's previous roles include Creative Director, Chicago Sun-Times Media, Art Director at Grid Chicago, and RedEye iPad editor at Chicago Tribune Media Group. Prior to joining TXI, Chekal also worked as the Director of Digital Strategy and Creative Director. He has extensive experience in page design, graphics editing, and digital media strategy.
