As RUN’s VP of Client Strategy, I served as the leader of our larger Client Strategy (pre-sales) team, responsible for the creation and delivery of strategic RFP responses to key clients both domestic and global; accompanied Sales on key account meetings both domestic and global, helping to solve particularly complex programmatic, planning or investment challenges and asks; was accountable for the ideation and creation of a majority of RUN sales marketing collateral, ensuring understanding of our core competencies and keeping the marketplace aware of new products; and acted as the internal connector of Sales, Planning, Operations, Product and Engineering teams to help create attractive new - and strengthen existing - strategic solutions for agencies and advertisers.

As an Associate Director on the Mars Chocolate business, my team and I crafted digital and new media strategies to diversify Mars' overall, heavily-traditional channel mix. In order to connect to overall business objectives and prove the value of digital and new media, our tactics had to be very closely mapped to both in-target reach/frequency delivery and actual sales/ROI, so integration with audience verification and research partners was paramount, including comScore, Nielsen, Datalogix, MMM and others. Managed a team of eight responsible for planning and executing over $50 million in annual spend.

Managed a team of four responsible for planning and executing over $30 million in annual digital media spend, which over time grew to include higher concentrations of social, mobile, tablet and multi-screen dollars.

As a digital media planner, my team and I churned out approximately 20 plans a year on behalf of our entertainment and retail clients.  In that time, we cemented long-standing digital strategies, incorporated data and audience analysis to determine exactly who we wanted to reach, and established improved KPIs and post-campaign reports.  We also worked in close connection with the offline teams, and the collaboration resulted in 360 degree communications plans that efficiently transmitted a consistent message across a cross platform of media.
