Christina Banthin is a highly skilled legal professional with extensive experience leading multi-disciplinary legal and business teams in complex transactions. As a senior legal executive, she has acted as a strategic advisor to AIG executive management in the pending separation of AIG's life and retirement business. Banthin is recognized for her excellent judgement and breadth of business knowledge, as well as her ability to distill clarity from complexity as a creative problem solver. She has a proven track record of recruiting, retaining, and developing high-performing teams.
Banthin's accomplishments include playing a lead role in taking EQH public, negotiating $9 billion of credit facilities, implementing related corporate restructuring, and negotiating separation agreements with EQH's former parent company. She is a graduate of Duke University, Georgetown University Law Center, and New York University School of Law.
