Started with looking into how this world works, and I was very curious and founded a lot of shit, stuff that doesn't inspire at all and a complete drain of energy for most people. Took my feelings serious a better world is possible, created a routine of working hard for it, making the vision more accessible every day and slowly getting close to contribute to a world were people in full awareness want to belong to, feel safe and feel at home. The idea of CommonEasy came to mind in 2010. I was studying economics and a minor in social sciences. Always trying to understand human (economic) systems better and a strong urge to build a better world. I found the prospect of job descriptions for the typical economist not really motivating for me. So I decided to be creative, find my own path and I started experimenting with the original idea:Can you not use your social network as a safety net? Instead of big centralized insurance companies?The inspiration came from the theorem of Coase; why do firms exist? And social network theory of weak and strong ties, how do people find jobs through their social network? My observation was that if companies always try to diminish their transaction cost by avoiding market transactions, a network tool could do the same, and therefore make companies, markets, governments obsolete and especially insurance companies. It took me three years of experimenting to find a true peer to peer "insurance" model that is truly empowering for it's users. Took me another year to build it and almost two years to make it legal compliant. During the road co founders left, my brother joined, talked with crypto entrepreneurs and programmers to join, walked away from no so idealistic investors, quite an incubator program, worked for a status quo insurance company for my own research and learned a lot working together with people during freelance carreer.
