Kevin Randall is a seasoned brand strategy expert with a diverse background in both journalism and consulting. At UL, the world's leader in safety science, he leads global brand strategy development. Throughout his career, Randall has worked with a range of top companies, including Google, McDonald's, and Siemens, to help them grow their businesses with innovative strategies. He has written for prestigious publications such as The New York Times, The Economist, and Vanity Fair, covering high-profile topics such as Elon Musk and the Dalai Lama. Randall is also a regular speaker at top universities, including Kellogg School of Management and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Randall's professional journey began at Interbrand, where he created brand strategies for well-known companies such as Kellogg's, GE, and SeaWorld. He then became a Vice President at Movéo, consulting and leading strategic planning for clients like Cardinal Health, Pfizer, and Siemens. Before his tenure at UL, Randall also consulted for multiple brands, including SpaceX, Telefónica, Chevron, and Virgin Hyperloop One. He has authored publications that have become required reading material in courses at Harvard Kennedy School and Duke University.
