Mary Koutourousiou

Mary Koutourousiou is a highly qualified neurosurgeon with an extensive educational background and experience in the field.

She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the esteemed Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, School of Medicine in Greece, and also completed her Neurosurgery Board Certification at the General Hospital of Athens 'G. Gennimatas'.

Dr. Koutourousiou has held various significant positions in prestigious institutions including being an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and the Director of the Pituitary and Skull Base Program at University of Louisville Physicians.

Her expertise extends to Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery, Neuroanatomy, and Minimal Invasive/Endoscopic Neurosurgery, as evident from her roles as a Clinical Fellow and Research Fellow at leading medical centers like UPMC and UMC St. Radboud in the Netherlands.

With a wealth of experience as a former Neurosurgery Resident and Clinical Instructor, Dr. Koutourousiou has a strong foundation in academia and clinical practice.
