Lisa Alcorn is an experienced environmental strategist and consultant with an extensive background in environmental cleanup and compliance. She holds a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and has studied Project Management at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology.
Lisa is the Owner and Sole Proprietor of Lisa Alcorn Consulting, where she provides steering services for green sustainable projects, including early stage analytical planning, intrinsic and enhanced bioremediation, institutional controls, negotiating site-specific (risk-based) action levels, retrofits to support EO 13514, and lean project management.
With a proven track record in accelerating projects, Lisa has earned recognition for her excellent relationship management skills, research and analysis, and strong written/verbal communication skills. She is known for her ability to partner with regulatory agencies, communicate well across organizational lines, and exert appropriate levels of influence as needed.
Lisa's expertise includes Incremental Sampling Methodology and BioAccessibility Sampling, which she combines with her analytical and innovative approach to produce data that is representative of site conditions, leading to well-informed decisions and avoiding unnecessary action.
