James Chan
James Chen Lianghong, a multi-talented individual, has held several positions as an operator and investor in the Southeast Asian and American tech industry. He leverages his vast expertise and skills gained from his previous roles as CEO (Asia Pacific) and a Director at Wecash, Director at Neo Innovation, Inc., Vice President (International) at GreyOrange, Investment Manager at Walden International and Infocomm Investments, and Transitional Executive at IMDA. He also co-founded and led Neoteny Labs, and Silicon Straits making profitable investments in HipVan, Burpple, Carro, One Eight Technologies, PolicyPal, and many other companies.
James is a certified Management Accountant, having studied the CIMA Professional Qualification, Management Accounting, Level 2 at Chartered Institute of Management Accountants; he also pursued a Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University, an MSc., Management Science & Engineering at Stanford University, and various GCE 'A' and 'O' level subjects at Raffles Institution.
