Isabella Bengoechea is an accomplished sub-editor with over three years of experience at The Times, working across multiple desks including News, Features, Digital, and Business. With a NCTJ journalism qualification from Press Association, Isabella also has a strong academic background, having completed her Master's and Bachelor's degrees in English Literature at Oxford University and Durham University, respectively.

Isabella's proficiency extends to digital writing, audience growth and engagement strategies, and social media analytics. Before joining The Times, she worked as a freelance news reporter for The Daily Express and contributed shareable SEO content for a travel website. During her academic years, she was Editor-in-Chief of student magazine The Grove and Editor of the Literature Section of student newspaper The Palatinate.
