I worked with the Development Director on marketing and fundraising efforts for Shoreline Christian School. I managed all of our content, primarily weekly and monthly newsletters (52% open rate), school calendar, social media feeds, and annual fundraising appeals. I wrote and edited for each of those, and generate photo and video content at needed. I was also responsible for the maintenance of our donor database and event registration platforms.

I was the primary event planner responsible for fundraising events, including a fall gala/auction and spring elementary Jog-a-thon. Increased event giving through modernized gift processing and cloud-based peer-to-peer fundraising. Coordinated event registration and communications across Facebook, Constant Contact and event websites. Managed volunteers for each event.

Promoted from previous position with the Seattle District. I now oversee communications and administrative duties for United Methodist Churches in King County and SW Washington. Duties range from light graphic and print design to Mailchimp newsletters and assisting in transition from paper to digital record keeping.

The Green Bean is a non-profit taking a community approach to the coffee shop business. As a barista I interact with dozens to hundreds of customers on any given day, providing excellent service and a welcoming environment. I also handled the social media presence of the Green Bean on Facebook and Twitter.
