The technical lead, architect, and developer of a greenfield multi tenant service, which is being partnered with organisations to provide better weather and crop data as well as access to smart phones for rural farmers.  The solution is flexible enough to provide solutions to many different business cases for managed device services.Hiring:Lead hiring best practices process and discussions.  Created a hiring process which balances skilled engineering, communication, collaboration, personal responsibility, and craftsmanship.  I also formulated take home and in person technical exercises.Movivo Apps:Lead Developer of a serverless platform with multiple Android apps, which allows users to cover the cost of their mobile minutes by completing surveys, crowdsourced tasks and by downloading new mobile apps.

I work on the Amazon Instant Video PlatformProjects Involved In:*Client Side Development: Worked on the shared javascript code that works on all 'Big Screen' devices, which include all TV applications, consoles and digital media players- Primary developer responsible for coordinating the transfer of client side code from Bangalore to London- Worked on launching application which sits on top of low level proprietary rendering layer* Studio Contract Storage, Reporting and Analysis system- Greenfield project which globally stores all subscription video contracts, performs payment and amortization calculations on them, produces reports, and will eventually perform predictive calculations on all contracts amazon will sign with studios.- Worked on the full stack, from system design to data storage to front end.* Amazon Instant Video Single Global Platform Migration- Worked on migrating all data related to active subscriptions from lovefilm to Amazon.  The permutations of subscriptions was in 5 digits, and all had to be mapped to associated Amazon subscriptions, some of which were new.  Time critical project which was successfully completed on time.* Content Purchasing and Ownership:- Worked on project allowing users to download Prime Instant Video subscription movies locally to their device, a time sensitive project that had to work to scale on the moment of launch- Worked on driving down operational load for content ownership services and finding / fixing scalability issues (on a ~10000 TPS service).* The primary developer on a security push to upgrade of MySQL and Apache major versions over multiple services* MentoringI was tasked with mentoring an intern on 3 month placement at Amazon.  I architected an internal tool in which my intern built, and helped him technically and developmentally * InterviewingI am also an interviewer for Amazon.  I have been involved in phone screens, in person interviews and hiring events.
