Tim Marbach is a successful tech entrepreneur and angel investor with a vast portfolio of consumer internet companies, most of which have raised several hundred million USD in follow-on venture capital. Tim started his first company, bonial.com, in 2008 and sold it to German media conglomerate Axel Springer SE in 2011. Since then, he has co-founded and invested in many other thriving companies through his private internet holding company, Asia Venture Group. With extensive knowledge in finance and entrepreneurship, Tim holds a BSc from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and studied Finance & Entrepreneurship at ESCP Europe.

As the Founder & CEO at Asia Venture Group, Tim has been involved in several organizations in various capacities, including Investor & Strategic Advisor at Function Health, Investor at Supercast and NOVOS, Founding Investor & Board Member at Limitless Technology Group, Investor at Thriva Health, and former Co-Founder and Executive Chairman at HappyFresh and iprice group, among many other roles. His knowledge in investment banking, TMT M&A and expertise in the internet, finance and entrepreneurship sectors has enabled him to invest and co-found several companies nationally and internationally.
