Tripp Jones is a seasoned investor with a broad investment portfolio focused on consumer, marketplace, and fintech companies. He is a Partner at Uncork Capital and leads the firm's later stage efforts. Jones began his career as a fintech Analyst in investment banking before becoming a Senior Associate at Spectrum Equity and a General Partner at August Capital.

Jones has led investments in a number of successful companies such as BARK, CommonBond, Rocketmiles, and Sun Basket. He has also been involved in investments in Avant, Fastly, and PubMatic, to name a few. In addition to his work with Uncork Capital, Jones has also invested in a number of angel deals, including 100 Thieves and Daring Foods.

Before launching his career in finance, Jones helped found the Big Mountain Ski Teams as a coach on the Squaw Valley Ski Team. He holds a degree from Princeton University and is a native of the San Francisco Bay Area.
