Lions Trust is the first Brazilian fund administrator fully dedicated to the alternative investments industry, including private equity, real estate and infrastructure.

We developed an independent full service platform to provide the following services for general partners and institutional investors in Brazil:

-  Fund administration for FIP’s, FMIEE’s and FIC FIP’s;
-  Structuring of investment vehicles (both onshore and offshore); and
-  Operationalization of foreign investments in FIP’s, FMIEE’s and FIC FIP’s.


Mr. Pisani is a member of the ABVCAP Board of Directors (Brazilian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association); the FIP/FIEE Regulation and Best Practices Board (pursuant to PE/VC Best Practices Code enacted by ABVCAP and ANBIMA); and the Private Equity Funds Commission of ANBIMA.

Director at Pátria Investimentos responsible for structuring and legal, Mr. Pisani has extensive experience in the Brazilian financial and capital markets. Over the last 8 years, Marco was dedicated to the investment activities of Pátria Investimentos, a leader in alternative asset management in Brazil, with over R$10.9 billion in AUM (R$8.1 billion in Private Equity) on March 2012. Mr. Pisani was responsible for structuring Pátria’s investment vehicles, in Brazil and abroad, as well as their governance and ILPA principles. Mr. Pisani had active participation in the investment, monitoring and divestment process of several Pátria’s portfolio companies, including Anhanguera Educacional (BVSP: AEDU3) and Tivit Terceirização S.A. (BVSP: TVIT3).
