Evan Smigel

Evan Spiegel, CEO of Snaps, is a visionary leader in the tech industry known for his innovative ideas and disruptive strategies. Spiegel studied product design at Stanford University and launched his career with an internship at a startup called Red Bull. While at Stanford, he co-founded Snapchat in 2011 with his friends Reggie Brown and Bobby Murphy. Under Spiegel’s leadership, Snapchat grew at an unprecedented pace and quickly became a household name. In 2017, the company went public and raised over $3 billion in its initial public offering. In addition to his work at Snapchat, Spiegel is also an angel investor and has funded a number of successful startups.

In 2018, Spiegel founded Snaps, an online platform that allows merchants to sell items via augmented reality (AR). The company enables merchants to embed 3D products into their sites and apps, providing customers with a better sense of how the product will look and fit in their lives.

Throughout his career, Spiegel has been recognized for his contributions to the tech industry. In 2013, he was named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time magazine. In 2015, he was listed among Forbes' 30 under 30 in tech.
