Robin Everts

Robin Everts is a highly skilled and experienced scientist who has made significant contributions to the field of animal genomics and pharmacogenomics. He earned an MSc. in Animal Sciences from Wageningen Agricultural University and went on to receive a PhD from the Department of Veterinary Medicine at Universiteit Utrecht in the Netherlands. Following his doctorate, he conducted research in embryo/fetal functional genomics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign for several years.

Everts' research focuses on developing genotyping assays for pharmacogenetics, ADME, CYP450, CNV, copy number variation, CFTR, HPV, animal genomics, cancer mutation screening, OncoCarta, microarray gene expression analysis, methylation, bioinformatics, Perl, and R. He has authored or co-authored 47 peer-reviewed papers, demonstrating his impressive research abilities.

Everts has served in various roles at Sequenom Biosciences and Agena Bioscience, where he is currently employed as Staff Scientist - Global Pharmacogenetics & Clinical Genetics in the Department of Scientific Affairs. He is responsible for global Pharmacogenetics and Clinical solution development and uses his extensive knowledge and experience to design and implement strategies to meet the needs of clients in this field.

In addition to his scientific background, Everts has also earned a professional certificate in Business Management from the University of California, San Diego. His expertise and experience in the field have earned him the respect and admiration of his colleagues and peers alike.
