Michelle Lu is a healthcare strategist turned nurse practitioner with a focus on building more compassionate and sustainable care delivery models. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. She also has a Masters of Science in Adult Gerontology Primary Care with a Healthcare Informatics minor from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing.
During her career, Michelle has worked as a Director of Clinical Innovation at Landmark Health, where she also served as a Nurse Practitioner. She was also a former manager and dialysis clinic nurse at DaVita Kidney Care, as well as a manager of health industries at Strategy&, which was formerly known as Booz & Company. She has also worked for McKinsey & Company as a summer business analyst and was a research assistant at the Center for Health Equity Research at the University of Pennsylvania.
Michelle is passionate about bridging the gap between strategy and clinical operations in order to create more sustainable and empathetic care models. She has expertise in strategy, operations, and innovation in the healthcare industry.
