Simran Singh is a highly experienced attorney with a focus on entertainment law. After working in-house for Universal Music for several years, Singh founded his own law firm, Singh, Singh & Trauben, LLP, where he now represents a wide range of clients in the music, film, and television industries. He has helped negotiate some of the biggest deals in the music industry and has overseen multi-million dollar litigation cases for his clients.
In the film industry, Singh regularly assists with business affairs, including drafting and negotiating agreements related to actors, directors, producers, and intellectual property. He also advises clients on finance and distribution agreements, talent and executive employment, and rights acquisitions and sales. Singh is well-respected in the entertainment industry and has been mentioned and quoted in a variety of outlets, including Forbes, The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard, and Variety. He has also spoken at various music, digital, and entertainment conferences.
Singh received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Miami School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts degree with a dual major from the College of William & Mary. He is a member of the California and Florida bars, and he was elected to serve as Senator of the Student Bar Association for two terms while at the University of Miami.
