John Bacon is a skilled software engineer with a passion for social entrepreneurship and creating massive-scale businesses. He has over 6 years of experience in iOS development, with expertise in Swift and Objective C. John has worked on React Native development on both iOS and Android at a large scale and is well-versed in Java development. Also, he has strong design and architecture skills and has co-founded a mobile game company and a social impact company in the past.

John currently serves as the Principal Software Engineer at Roblox, where he is working on the next generation of tech for the Roblox app. Before that, he worked at Zynga, where he played a critical role in the development of Words With Friends 2 and migrated the Words With Friends client to React Native.

He obtained his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science from Boston College. John has extensive experience with DynamoDB + AWS Lambda, Apple Watch development, and Lua.
