Sam Palmer is an experienced Senior Loss Control Specialist with a strong background in occupational safety and health. With a BS and MS in Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene from Columbia Southern University, Sam has worked in various positions where he has gained knowledge and expertise on mitigating risks associated with employee injury in the workplace.

Prior to his role at Third Coast Underwriters, Sam served as the Vice President of Loss Control at Utah Business Insurance Company. He also worked as a Refractory Specialist at companies like JT Thorpe and Son, F.S. Sperry, and as a Bricklayer at Swanson Masonry and Spencer Brickwork.

Sam's current role at Third Coast Underwriters involves surveying potential risks, providing feedback to underwriting, and ensuring policyholders receive resources to prevent exposure to employee injury.

In his downtime, Sam enjoys outdoor activities including hiking and camping.
