Julian Maroda is a creative entrepreneur and expert in the video game industry, based in Montreal. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Université libre de Bruxelles with a Master's Degree in Communication, and later studied Game Design at Ubisoft Campus to obtain a Graduate Diploma. Julian has over a decade of experience working in the gaming field, with more than 30 titles released on all major platforms.

As the co-founder, CEO, and Minister of Creation at Norsfell - a Montreal-based game studio he established in 2013 - Julian is responsible for leading the strategic vision and operations, which have since produced and delivered award-winning titles, including a 'Best Game' nomination at Gamescom 2016 and a 1st place at the 2017 Ubisoft Indie Series contest.

He is also an active member of the gaming industry community, regularly participating in events and conferences like MIGS, IGDA, and Comiccon. In his previous roles, Julian worked as a Game Designer at Ludia and ODD1, as well as being a Teaching Assistant at Université libre de Bruxelles. Outside of gaming, Julian has explored acting, starring in the cult action movie, Kung Fury, which premiered at the 2015 Cannes Film Festival.
