Diego Dorgam
Diego Dorgam is a highly experienced IT professional with a background in management, development, and teaching. With a degree in Information Management and a Technology Management degree, Dorgam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the table. With six years of experience in the Federal Government, he has been responsible for overseeing significant digital transformations at notable ministries, including the Ministry of Justice and the Ministry of Culture. Some of his achievements include setting up a robust IT governance process, implementing an electronic process, automating infrastructure, fostering DevOps culture and Agile Development culture. He has also been instrumental in opening up the source codes of many software programs.
In his two-year stint as a Sales Engineer at Rocket.Chat, Dorgam was responsible for large-scale installations across noteworthy organizations such as the Brazilian Space Agency, the Federal Police, BNDES, and Caixa Econômica Federal. Dorgam's expertise in the field also includes Chatbot specializations. He developed the HubotNatural framework and several connectors for open-source chatbot platforms, such as mentoring for the Google Summer of Code.
Currently, he serves as a Research Professor at UnB's School of Software Engineering, the Advanced Laboratory of Software Production, Research, and Innovation (LAPPIS) as Senior Researcher responsible for developing contributions to the RASA.AI platform and as a DeepLearning Professor for University of Brasília.
