Mahmoud Salem is a Managing Director in BNY Mellon’s Issuer Services sector, serving as the Regional Manager for the Middle East and Head of Global Marketing for the Depositary Receipts business. With almost 15 years of experience in leading transactions in the region, Mahmoud has been instrumental in assisting governments and foreign issuers in structuring and executing IPOs, secondary offerings, mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate deals related to depositary receipts. Mahmoud has notably pioneered depositary receipts programs in Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Jordan, Tunisia, and the UAE. He has also played a significant role in facilitating NYSE and NASDAQ listings for foreign issuers and has contributed to structuring major cross-border acquisitions in the Middle East.
