Ethernet Software Operations and Labs Enablement Director

• Strategically led Intel’s global software and methodologies engineering team that spanned US, Israel, India and Malaysia, that provided the best end-to-end design system by partnering with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) vendors and augmenting with differentiating internal solutions used by > 15K design engineers with > 1.5B invocations in 2019.
• Constructed software product roadmap, customer project interceptions and contingencies based on business analysis of customer project schedules and requirements.
• Directed operations, set development priorities, and managed ambiguities and risks in a resource constrained, fast-paced environment.
• Enhanced hardware design productivity by several factors and reduced CAPEX by leading team to identify and execute on opportunities to optimize software performance, and compute and disk usage when executed on Intel distributed compute farms.

Technology/Solutions Development Director

• Led global team, oversaw development and support of high-quality and innovative software solutions for digital and AMS simulation, static checks, IP handoff quality, and connectivity drove convergence and standardization at the corporate level, leveraging internally developed Continuous Integration and Delivery system to deliver development productivity and quality.
• Led team through change as Intel transformed the CPU design from Core-based to an SOC-based system, where tools, flows and methodologies played key roles in the transformation.
• Drove development overhaul of outdated and ineffective design quality checking and management system, which improved quality compliance and system usability, ultimately reducing customer project development time.
• Analyzed technologies and EDA vendor products, and spearheaded consolidation of multiple static analysis solutions onto a single vendor to improve customer project productivity and strengthen Intel-vendor pricing negotiating power.
• Performed all aspects of people management activities, including recruitment, hiring, performance reviews, coaching and career development, performance improvement plans and terminations.

Technology/Solutions Development Manager

• Led software development and supported large projects through project completion, including Nehalem 1st generation Core and Sandy Bridge 2nd generation Core, as a key member of central solutions team. 
• Planned, designed, evaluated, validated and deployed greatly improved Analog-Mixed Signal (AMS) software system with many performance and usability improvements, in collaboration with project teams and EDA companies.
• Contributed to Accellera Verilog-AMS hardware language standards committee to formally extend the language with SystemVerilog dynamic functional verification and coverage capabilities.
•Lead technology and methodology workgroups with representation from customer teams across Intel.

Senior Software Solutions Engineer

• Developed software automation, engaged with and managed EDA vendors, and supported Northwood Pentium 4 and Nehalem 1st generation Core as part of the project Design Automation team.
• Architected and developed a modular SystemVerilog compilation and simulation system built around vendor software, which was used for Core design and validation used for the next 10 years, leading to greatly increased design productivity.
• Architected and developed Intel’s first AMS design system that supported SystemVerilog, Verilog-AMS and Spice netlist, utilizing the best validation practices and rigor of digital validation.

Senior Design Automation Engineer

• Directly supported the Willamette Pentium 4 CPU project team on Intel design software, including debugging and resolving technical issues, developing technical documentation and providing training.
• Piloted, validated and deployed new capabilities, technologies and methodologies to project team.

Applications Engineer

• Trained and ready artillery cadets to become officers and lead platoons.
