Emma Bones is an experienced and skilled Water Resources Engineer with a background in stormwater management, modeling, and design. She holds a Master of Science in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the prestigious Georgia Institute of Technology. Her expertise also includes floodplain modeling, mapping, and community outreach. She has strong technical skills in using software like ArcGIS, AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and HEC-RAS (1D & 2D) to resolve complex challenges. Emma has worked as a Technical Assistant Contractor for the FEMA Public Assistant (PA) Program at Dewberry, formerly holding Project Engineer and Staff Engineer positions in the same company. She has also interned with other organizations, such as the US Army Corps of Engineers and Black & Veatch, which has enabled her to develop a strong customer focus and creative problem-solving skills. Her abilities to gain the trust of clients and provide satisfactory deliverables and products make her a fantastic asset to any project she works on.
