Cory Cranford
Cory Cranford, a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and a minor in Italian, and a Master of Science degree in Technology, Cybersecurity, and Policy. With a background in the casino gaming industry, Cranford has worked in various startups and mid-level companies as a software/system engineer. He is currently employed as a Mobile Security Researcher at Webroot, an Ethical Mobile Hacker/Security Researcher, and a backend QA automation professional at OpenText. Cranford also serves as a paid Teaching Assistant for a military innovation and entrepreneurship graduate class at CU Boulder. Working towards the national hacking for defense effort led by the Department of Defense, he helps and guides students in coming up with practical solutions to address national security issues.
Apart from his professional expertise, Cranford is a co-founder and project manager at Ajax GPS LLC, providing consulting services and research in laboratory environments. He has an interest in game development and is a music lover who plays a few musical instruments. His passion for sports has led him to compete in pentathlons in the past, predominantly in fencing and running. He also excels in communicating well and takes responsibility for his actions while practicing kindness.
