Fernando Herrera

Fernando Herrera is a seasoned professional with a strong background in industrial engineering, management, and computer systems engineering.

He studied Masters in Industrial Engineering and Management at Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and Computer Systems Engineering at Tecnológico de Monterrey.

Fernando has held key leadership positions in various organizations, including being the Executive Chairman at Nordcloud and Chairman at Nordcloud Group.

His experience also includes serving as a Board Member at Boxie Oy and SC5, as well as being the Chairman at Nord5 Group.

With a diverse skill set, he has been an Entrepreneur in Residence at EIT ICT Labs and held roles such as Director of New Business Development - Finland, Director of Gaming and Online, and Chief of Online Service Development at Sanoma Entertainment.

Additionally, Fernando has served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Älypää Oy - The Smarthead Ltd and managed the Games Business at Sanoma Entertainment.

His career highlights include being the CEO at Rovio Mobile Ltd, CEO and Co-Founder at Pixelgene Ltd, and contributing as a Researcher at the Helsinki Institute for Information Technology.
