Jessica Yakima is a proficient marketing professional who has worked in several positions within diverse organizations. She is currently serving as the Community Marketing Lead on the Integrated Marketing unit at Pet Supplies Plus in Livonia. Her expertise lies in analyzing and strategizing marketing campaigns that engage and delight customers. Jessica has completed her degree in Advertising and Public Relations, with a specialization in public relations, from Grand Valley State University.

During her college years, she participated in a variety of on-campus organizations, including serving as Vice President of Member Services for PRSSA, Grand Valley Chapter, a nationally-affiliated group that emphasizes public relations. Additionally, she developed her PR and marketing skills as an account associate for GrandPR, a student-operated public relations company. Jessica has also worked as a Regional Marketing Specialist and Regional Marketing Coordinator for Meijer and Mercy Health, respectively.

Jessica's professional expertise extends beyond marketing and PR. Before moving into her current role, she served as a Sales Assistant/Consumer Relations Coordinator at Old Orchard Brands, where she mastered her marketing and customer engagement skills. She also interned as a Marketing, Branding and Social Media professional at Organik Consulting and as a Public Relations Project professional at SeyferthPR.

Jessica is also invested in philanthropic initiatives, serving as Vice Chair of the BISSELL Pet Foundation junior board, where she helps promote the foundation's aims of pet adoption and animal welfare.
