With a rich educational background, Anita holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Nord University, a Bachelor's degree in Barnevernspedagog, and completed studies at Frydenlund videregående skole and Nord University.

Throughout her career, Anita Skog has held key positions such as Senior Advisor and Innovation Initiator at NHO - Næringslivets Hovedorganisasjon, Senior Advisor at Innovasjon Norge, and various roles in organizations like Vestvatn Alpinanlegg, Bodø Kommune, Bodø Sentrumsforum AS, and SAMEIET SENTRUMSGÅRDEN.

In addition, she has demonstrated her entrepreneurial spirit as the former Founder of Balansen Helse og Livstilssenter, served as the Managing Director of Balansen Bodø AS, and held positions at DNB and SATS.
