Hema Magesh is a seasoned professional with a diverse skill set and a strong background in virtualization, BIOS systems, networking technologies, programming languages, and Microsoft technologies. With a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electronics and Communication from the University of Madras, Hema further honed her skills in leadership, business administration, and management through the Tanmatra - Women in Leadership program at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.

In terms of professional experience, Hema has held key positions in reputable organizations, including her current role as the Director of Engineering at ThoughtSpot. Prior to this, she served in various leadership roles at Cisco, such as Director of Software Development, Senior Engineering Manager, and Software Engineering Manager. Hema also gained valuable experience at Juniper Networks, Intel, Wipro Technologies, and Satyam Computers in software engineering and technical roles throughout her career.

Hema's technical expertise covers a wide range of areas, including virtualization technologies like Intel VT and VMware ESX, BIOS for IA32 and IA64 systems, Gigabit Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and IEEE standards on Layer2 protocols. She is proficient in programming languages such as C, C++, and familiar with operating systems like Linux, UNIX, RTOS - OSE, Vxworks, Tiano, and EFI. Additionally, Hema has experience with Microsoft Technologies like VC++, COM / DCOM, as well as version control systems like ClearCase, Visual Source Safe, Perforce, and CVS.
