Jeff Hastings is a results-driven sales professional with over 15 years of experience in academic library sales. As a consistent Goal Achiever, he's received accolades such as the President's Club award for his remarkable achievements. Jeff has a reputation for excellence, being highly analytical, conscientious, and calm under pressure. He is highly skilled in consultative sales, identifying decision-makers, managing complex sales cycles, articulating oral and written communication, organizing, and strong analytical abilities. Jeff holds a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management Information Systems with a concentration in International Business. He studied at the University of Colorado Boulder - Leeds School of Business and Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico. Additionally, he has Intensive Spanish language training and general coursework at the Universidad de Guadalajara.
Jeff Hastings leads SAGE Publishing's Senior Library Sales Team, working with clients to build shared goals, identification of new resources for acquisition, and working towards a plan to move forward. Before joining SAGE Publishing, he worked as the Senior Business Development Manager at deverus, Library Services Consultant at OCLC, and Software Consultant at Comm-Tech. Earlier in Jeff's career, he interned at IBM Global Services in the Global Services eBusiness division.
