Senior Business Analyst

The Trainee Program in Japan began in October of 2016 with myself and two other colleagues being selected as the pioneers. The Trainee Program allows me to discover and learn various functions within adidas Japan by rotating between departments every three months within a two-year period. This system offers me the opportunity to gain an understanding of the business from several different perspectives, interact with different teams and peoples and develop a plethora of specialist skills. In my first year of my program, I had the chance to join the MOPS/CTC team where I worked primarily on Range Architecture - analyzing aspects such as pricing disparities and how to optimize the range selection. My second rotation had me discover the world of Sales, which is extremely unique in Japan, by being assigned to an account a week at a time. In addition, I was able to execute my own project of evaluating various accounts and their eCommerce platforms in order to see their weaknesses and identify quick-wins. This project continued into my third rotation in the eCommerce team with the scope increasing to a wider degree of accounts. Through various analyses, I also spearheaded initiatives to ameliorate the layout and functionalities of a couple of online accounts in order deliver a smoother customer journey. Currently, I am in the Finance department enhancing my understanding of the numbers associated in the organization; after which, I will move on to Business Development, an assignment in another market, and one other department that is yet to be decided.

Brand Activation Assistant (Intern)

Underwent a comprehensive internship assisting departments such as International Business, Partnerships Marketing, Stadium Marketing and more, in one of the most dynamic and perspicacious teams in the football industry.
