Nora Denzel is a seasoned technology executive and board member based in Silicon Valley. With a wide-ranging experience in leading Big Data, Enterprise Software, Consulting, and Storage businesses, Nora brings functional expertise in driving innovation at scale, applying technology to transform companies, and turning technical concepts into strategies that everyone can understand. Nora has served on seven public boards to date and is currently on the board of AMD, Ericsson, and NortonLifeLock, where she chairs the Compensation Committee of AMD and sits on both Ericsson’s and AMD’s Innovation and Technology Committees. Nora is also a certified NACD Director and has been credited with a CERT in Cybersecurity Oversight from Carnegie Mellon University.

Nora began her professional journey at IBM, where she spent 13 years working as a software engineer and senior management position in marketing, software engineering, and other technical roles. Her leadership roles also include serving as Senior VP of Product Operations at Legato Software (now part of DellEMC) and Senior VP of Enterprise Software, Networking, Enterprise Storage, and Consulting at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise. Until 2012, Nora served as SVP of Big Data and Marketing at Intuit, where she was responsible for driving data analytics company-wide to delight Intuit's 50M customers.

Nora is also an active member of various Boards of Directors and advisory boards, including AnitaB.org, a non-profit organization that aims to increase the number of women in computing, and the YWCA of Silicon Valley. Nora studied computer science at State University of New York College at Plattsburgh, earned an MBA in Business from Santa Clara University, and completed the Stanford Director's College at Stanford University.
