Cory Vanderpool is a seasoned expert in the field of energy efficiency, government relations, business development and marketing. Vanderpool obtained a PhD in Environmental Science & Policy from the prestigious George Mason University, an M.P.A in Public Administration and a B.S. in Psychology & Human Resource Development from James Madison University.

At Magnum Innovations, Vanderpool leads the development and expansion of innovative wireless, battery-free energy management solutions for hotels, universities, schools, retail, residential and commercial office buildings, with a primary focus on reducing energy consumption. Vanderpool is passionate about green building, energy efficiency, government relations, business development, writing, presenting, statistical analysis, research, and marketing. He also enjoys discussing the role of policy and incentives in the building retrofit industry and has presented on this topic at over 20 events across the country.
