Nuno Perestrelo is a talented and versatile Portuguese freelance photographer based in Madrid, Spain. He holds a Master's degree in Photography-Theories and Artistic Projects from PHotoEspaña International Centre Alcobendas PIC.A, and Bachelor's degrees in Communication and Media Studies from Universidade da Beira Interior and ERASMUS Audiovisual Communication, Journalism, Humanities from Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He has also completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Photojournalism from Mid Sweden University.

Nuno's work is driven by the relationship between humankind, nature, and the unconditional processes of time, through which he wants to reflect the complexity and intersections between different times of history and their repercussions on individuals' psychological and sociological tensions. The photographer's dedication to his art is clearly evident in his list of accomplishments, including winning the grant for PhotoEspaña's master program and exhibiting his solo exhibition of LOST EMPIRES at Galeria Municipal Augusto Cabrita, Almlof Gallery, and Pan Optikon / Fotografins Hus.
