Joseph Garnett is the Head of Underwriting School of Management & Engagement at Zurich North America, where he plays a critical role in enabling the development and implementation of strategies that promote profitable growth. He specializes in talent management, leadership training and development, sales mindset, strategic planning, inclusive diversity, facilitation/instruction, coaching, mentoring, presentation skills, management consulting, energy management, and performance coaching. Prior to his role at Zurich, Garnett worked in various leadership positions in different organizations, including Jade Leadership Consulting LLC, Allstate Insurance Company, and United Way of Lake County. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Hofstra University. Garnett is also a former President of the Board of Directors at Habitat for Humanity of Lake County and a former Board Member at Umoja Student Development Corporation.
