- Created and led the product marketing dept. of four for this martech and business-data leader, as well as serve as an individual contributor. Then, served as an advisor.- During my tenure, the company's annual recurring revenue increased 40%. - Served as lead sales engineer for the sales team, helping close deals with eight Enterprise accounts.- Initiated the company's first regular efforts around tier-one product launches, customer research, pricing and packaging, messaging/positioning, customer advisory board and customer reference management, sales/CS enablement and training, and media and analyst relations.

- As VP of sales and marketing, our team increased revenue by 10X in two years for Lytics, a martech company offering a customer data platform to software developers, designers and marketers. - Received 40 Under 40 Award by the Business Journal. - Made Gartner's Vendors to Watch list and was one of four vendors in the first customer data platform report (out of more than 30 possible competitors). - Garnered more media coverage than any competitor using a new customer reference system, all while having the smallest marketing team/budget in the industry. - New logos included General Mills, The Economist, Atlassian, and Heineken.

Lead all marketing for four HPE product lines: Aruba Wi-Fi for public venues, Aruba Beacons for iBeacon location, Meridian for building mobile apps, ClearPass for web-based engagement. Responsible for serving as spokesperson, managing marketing, training staff, handling sales, securing partnerships, advising product development, and more. Also, managing efforts with all Aruba retail/hospitality customers and app-developer relationships. Headed up marketing and sales for Meridian, a mobile software company for locations that was acquired by Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company, for 26X the investment. Grew revenue to seven figures in the first full year of business. Macy's, Bellagio, NYC subway, Levi's Stadium and more all used Meridian mobile technology to engage with their visitors. Featured on NPR, TechCrunch, Wall Street Journal and New York Times.

Publitek acquired McClenahan Bruer. Reporting to the CEO, I led account teams and all new-business sales for this full-service marketing agency for tech companies. Clients included HP, Intel, Isilon (acquired by EMC), PolyServe (acquired by HP), and Xilinx. Managed integrated marketing programs in PR, social media, advertising, Web development and demand generation.
