Blaise Pabon is an accomplished Technical Product Manager with a track record of introducing disruptive technologies to new markets. With a core competency in introducing software engineering tools and disciplines to business logic, Pabon has a unique perspective that bridges the gap between DevOps and BI. As an Open Source Contributor, he seeks to make it easier for product managers to determine if something is working as intended, and what should happen if something goes wrong. Additionally, he highlights the importance of understanding how we can tell who is using a specific product and how much better it is than previous versions.

Pabon began his journey as a National Merit Finalist at Academia San Jorge before studying Linguistics at Yale University. He then followed up with a Master of Arts (M.A.) in American/United States Studies/Civilization at the University of Buffalo. Pabon's career began at Sun Microsystems, where he worked as a System Engineer before moving on to become a Sales Engineer at Postini, Inc. (later acquired by Google). He was then a Sales Engineer at Google before moving on to become an Adoption Engineer at Authentic8. Pabon later served as Technical Marketing Manager and Sales Engineer at Shape Security before becoming Manager, DevOps Tools and Service Orchestration at the same company. He was also formerly a Chief Technical Advisor at Infrastructure Proving Grounds and a Sales Engineer at Sumo Logic. Most recently, he was a Product Manager at Very Good Security and is currently working as a Technical Product Manager at a stealth-mode startup.
