Brenda Meltebeke is a highly experienced legal practitioner based in Portland, Oregon. Throughout her impressive career spanning over three decades, she has demonstrated a mastery of complex legal and business matters, earning her a reputation as a trusted advisor to her clients. After earning her J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley’s School of Law, Brenda began working at Stoel Rives LLP, where she spent 28 years advising clients on corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law, among other areas of practice. Brenda's dedication to her clients and her community has earned her a long list of accolades over the years, including being recognized as one of the top 50 Oregon Super Lawyers for many years. In 2022, Brenda was appointed the interim Executive Director of Basic Rights Oregon. In this role, she is leading the organization through its search for a permanent Executive Director.
