Pablo Olivera is a bilingual teacher in Newark, NJ with more than 23 years of experience in education, specifically teaching science at the middle school level. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry from Montclair State University and a Master's degree in Public Administration from Rutgers University. Though his dream was to become a physician, family circumstances caused him to change his path and pursue teaching. Olivera is passionate about improving his community, having lived and raised his family there for over 42 years. He is a strong advocate for families, seniors, students, and teachers and believes in the importance of working together to make a difference. Olivera is a former teacher in the Newark Public Schools system and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his current position at Dr. Horton's Elementary School.
