John Ruzich
John Ruzich is a well-experienced legal and business affairs executive who has worked for prominent companies in the sports, entertainment, and media industries. He is currently the Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Legal Officer at Legends, a leading hospitality and experience company co-owned by the Dallas Cowboys, New York Yankees, and New Mountain. In his role, John oversees all legal, business affairs, human resources, and administrative matters for the company and advises ownership on corporate governance, joint ventures, acquisitions, and strategic planning. He is also responsible for labor issues and facility/operational matters for Legends’ over 70 venues and 20,000 employees.
Before joining Legends in 2012, John served as the Senior Vice President of Business and Legal Affairs/General Counsel for Classic Media, LLC, one of the world's largest independent entertainment companies, managing a portfolio of globally-recognized family and pop-culture entertainment brands such as Where's Waldo?, Casper the Friendly Ghost, and The Lone Ranger. John also worked as Associate Counsel for World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc., and as Staff Attorney for the New Jersey Devils, a professional ice hockey team.
John earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Miami and his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University College of Law. He is a versatile and skilled professional with extensive expertise in legal and business affairs, corporate governance, strategic planning, and risk management.
