As Interim CEO, restructured the business, developed a sustainable business model, reduced headcount, and hired a new President.  Then, jointly refocused the sales team, created a new marketing positioning, and revamped the budget.  

In addition, sold 50% of the business, renamed the company to focus on social media and advertising sales organizations in the sports area, raised additional capital, and positioned the company for significant growth.  

Transitioned to the Board after hiring a new, permanent CEO.

As COO, I focus on three broad initiatives: (1) Ensuring our systems and operations efficiently meld the strengths of the combined companies, (2) Positioning the company for significantly accelerated revenue growth, through our existing services for marketers, and (3) Overseeing the development and roll-out of a pipeline of new revenue-generating products and services. Officially, I oversee the finance, marketing, law, strategy, and new product functions within the company.

We created BritePool a year before Google announced it would sunset third-party cookies. In early 2019, we concluded that the inaccuracies and privacy issues associated with third-party cookies could be replaced by a superior technology, which would create an enhanced programmatic ad system offering better results for marketers, web publishers, DSPs, and SSPs.

Now, the industry has followed our thinking, with the phase-out of third-party cookies and other identifiers. In the meantime, we have successfully proven our technology's efficacy as a replacement for third-party cookies, and BritePool is emerging as a leader in developing the new technologies that will create a higher value programmatic ecosystem for advertisers and marketers.

One of the founding officers of this innovative ad-tech start-up. Responsibilities include: Oversight of company finances; the timetable and go-to-market strategies for BritePool's technology solutions; the process for working with advertisers, publishers, and adtech companies, after the hand-off from the sales team; ensuring product design aligns with marketplace needs; marketing BritePool solutions; company communications; and legal affairs.

Retained as a consultant, then hired by the CEO to revitalize Chamber communications and to transition the Chamber into the digital age. Partnered with senior staff to develop a clear value proposition for adoption throughout the organization and communication to the membership. Managed staff of 15 to implement the online vision, led the restructuring of corporate communications to update traditional channels, and integrate new interactive marketing channels. •	Spearheaded ChamberBiz.com with less than $2M of investment capital and managed sale for $23M in 2000.
•	Restructured Nation’s Business from a failing, staff intensive magazine into a profitable, more focused publication, USChamber.com.
•	Served as a member of the Executive Committee of the U.S. Chamber.
•	Turbocharged U.S. Chamber membership, through aggressive marketing efforts aimed at larger organizations, and tripled corporate memberships in three years.

Developed new licensees in Europe and Asia for Calvin Klein clothing line and organized the opening of multiple Calvin Klein retail stores throughout the US, Asia, and Europe, doubling the business in two years. Renegotiated and updated the Japanese license.
•	Secured 20-year license for Calvin Klein jeans in Europe with Frantini Brothers; largest down payment in company’s history.
•	Opened Calvin Klein store in Seoul, Korea after successfully negotiating licensing agreement to match opening New York Calvin Klein store.
•	Generated 75% increase in underwear sales in Europe and Asia by working with Warnaco licensee.
•	Pioneered company’s transition to online through authorization of first online retail agreements with Marchon, Calvin Klein sunglass licensee.

Developed and implemented new corporate strategy as key member of Pizza Hut’s executive team. Scope of responsibilities included managing all marketing with regards to television, radio, out of home, direct marketing, and couponing. Worked closely with franchisees and 6,000 stores to implement new product strategy. Directed annual marketing budget of $300M, staff of 70, and six regional offices.
•	Stopped price erosion from excessive reliance on couponing by introducing new product strategy that increased traffic by more than 2.3% and guest check by more than 3.1%.
•	Motivated franchisee community to increase spending on advertising to 6.5% of sales over from 6% of sales for first time in company history; increase generated more than $10M in incremental advertising dollars.

Subsequently asked to lead Chiat/Day New York.. During my tenure, I led the expansion of office billing by attracting new clients, while maintaining Chiat/Day’s focus on impactful, creative advertising.
