Jiabei Kaiser: From Corporate Law to Business Education

Jiabei Kaiser is an accomplished entrepreneur and higher education administrator with a background in corporate law. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a BSB in Finance and a BA in Political Science before studying Law at Harvard Law School. She began her career as a Corporate Associate with Davis Polk & Wardwell, advising a range of private and public entities in mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy, and capital markets.

After leaving Davis Polk in 2012, Kaiser co-founded an e-commerce apparel company, Ampere. She then went on to become Senior Advisor to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Strategy for NYU Shanghai, a partnership with East China Normal University and the first Sino-US joint venture university approved by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. In her current role as Director for Global Executive Education at NYU's Leonard N. Stern School of Business, Kaiser oversees all marketing and business development efforts for Stern's non-degree executive education programs.

Kaiser's extensive experience in corporate law and entrepreneurship make her an expert in the business world. Her transition into higher education has allowed her to further develop skills in marketing and business development. She is a former Adjunct Professor at NYU Stern School of Business and has worked closely with NYU Shanghai to promote international educational partnerships.
