J. Nasir is a highly accomplished individual with a diverse educational background and a wealth of experience in the finance and investment industry.

His past board memberships include Modern Poultry Farms SAOC, Arabian Food Production Company SAOC, Karam Beirut Restaurants Company, Country Hill International, and The Aegis Funds. He has also held positions such as Co-Chief Investment Officer & Board Member at Mizuho Gulf Capital Partners, General Partner, Fund Manager & Board Member at Gulf Japan Food Fund, and Managing Partner at Catalyst Partners.

His extensive professional history includes roles at well-known companies like Penti A.Ş., Nabil Foods, Davex Lighting SDN BHD, Alamar Foods, General Lighting Company, and The Carlyle Group, where he served as Board Member & Managing Director. He has also held leadership positions such as Co-Head Carlyle MENA Partners and Partner at The Carlyle Group.

Before his tenure at The Carlyle Group, J. Nasir gained valuable experience as an Executive Director at UBS and Vice President at Credit Suisse. He started his career as a Project Development Manager at PRD, showcasing his versatile skill set and adaptability across different industries and roles.
