Sam McLoughlin is an accomplished Project Manager and Non-Executive Director with an extensive background in the Education, EdTech, and Social Enterprise sectors. With significant experience in careers education and guidance, he has detailed knowledge of industry engagement, early career recruitment, work experience, employability, apprenticeships, and university and graduate career pathways. Sam has held Non-Executive Director, Governor, Mentor, and Trustee roles in numerous education and community organizations. He is passionate about helping the youth, leveling up, and supporting young individuals farthest from the labor market. Currently, he is a member of the leadership team at globalbridge, an EdTech Start-up-where he has played a significant role in enhancing teacher-led career education and improving young people's connection to the industry.

Before his role at globalbridge, Sam was part of the senior leadership team that established a new secondary school in Newcastle - Studio School - with the focus of enhancing employment outcomes for young people. He also has experience delivering alternative education for Newcastle United Foundation and Middlesbrough FC Foundation. Sam graduated from Newcastle University with an Economics Degree.
