John Balena is a seasoned professional with substantial experience in the financial services and fintech industries. With over 13 years of experience in SAAS sales and 15 years in CRM, John has sold fixed income, US Treasuries, agencies, and municipals to institutional buy-side portfolio managers and traders. He began his career at primary dealer Zions Bank Capital Markets, where he emerged as the top producer in his team. Later, he joined Bloomberg LP and helped grow the west coast electronic trading market share from 7% to 52% for the company, responsible for 100 billion in monthly electronic volume. As an expert in bond trading, he also helped fintech start-up Bondcube launch in the US. John has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business Finance from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business.
